I grew up in Moscow, and lived there until I was 11 years old. My parents moved my family to NYC in 1994. With nothing but books packed into suitcases we said our goodbyes, boarded the plane (Delta!) and landed in America to start a new life.
Katya is my Russian name, shortened from Yekaterina. Now, mostly everyone knows me as Kate.
Creative Inspiration
My creative inspiration is a product of observation - drawn from every-day life, people, interactions, and nature. I love symmetry and balance.
In the Beginning
From early childhood - when I quit ballet for art classes, stood next to an easel as the youngest student in the class, and made my own interpretations of assignments - I knew that creativity would always be my natural center of gravity.
And Now… I love Excel as much as I love InDesign.
