Weekend Painting

The other day I woke up to an amazing view from my 28th floor bedroom window. Downtown Orlando was overtaken by a flood of light right before sunrise.  It only lasted for a few minutes, but I managed to hop out of bed and snap a quick picture with my phone.

Since I don't really watch football, I spent this weekend playing with watercolor, one of my favorite mediums. Here is my watercolor interpretation of the amazing light hitting downtown Orlando captured in a painting (excuse the photo quality, also taken with my Android).
